License plate recognition technology, this paper puts forward the effective method of license plate location. On license plate localization process, using the method is to gradually converted to gray image, image background image, black and white image, binary image, the image edge detection and image closed operation, open operation image, eventually converted to license plate images. Practice has proved that this method is effective and accurate, rapid and has high practical value.
This paper mainly studies the present situation and existing technology of license plate recognition system.
