With the energy constraints and needs of social development,popularity of dual-fuel cars is growing rapidly.However, due to the car structure and different requirements make original ordinary lubricants used in the dual-fuel vehicles is no longer reasonable.For the above reasons,development of dual-fuel vehicle and research of lubricant is important to world development and have practical significance.
This paper describes the current status of dual-fuel vehicles and fuel types used in dual-fuel vehicle.And analyzes requirements of the oil for the dual-fuel vehicle.Introduce the details of the current base oil and the current status of several engine oil additives commonly used(Antiwear agent、Antioxidant Anti-corrosive、Clean dispersant、Depressant),the improvement of dual-fuel oil.At the same time,Introduce the details of assessing method of two kinds of dual fuel oil commonly used through gamut spot signs of oil droplets and driving test evaluation method.Finally,this paper proposed prospect for the development of dual-fuel oil .
