Due Attention Should Be Given to the Study of Chinese
Undoubtly,more and more Chinese people pay less attention to the study of Chinese which hits the headlines of newspaper.A multitude of shools set less Chinese classes and even some young people can not write Chinese characters clearly.So it is a grave problem which we must be confronted with.
Generally speaking,there are two main reasons accounting for the phenomenon.On the one hand,in recent decades,it has witnessed the rapid development of China :Chinese people have more opportunities to learn different cultures coming from other countries and have been influenced by these cultures.
On the other hand,a lot of people consider that learning Chinese is very tedious and useless.Obviously if we could not master Chinese well,our traditional culture will soon be forgotten and it will be awful when the day comes.
As a Chinese student,I believe that it is the responsibility for us to promote our Chinese language.Firstly,the education department should take measures to spread the study of Chinese in the community.Secondly,we should enhance our awareness of Chinese language.Only in this way can our country be more recongized and better understood by the world.
