You are the Supply Chain Manager for the company and have been arguing that splitting the manufacturing facility between Scotland and Poland is going to make matters worse.

Prepare a report for your Managing Director that addresses the problem above.
The purpose of the report is to present a critical evaluation of the problems being experienced at Domesco and advise on a plan of improvement.
Your report should be approximately 3000 words in length.You will be allowed 21 days to complete the written report from the time you are instructed by your tutor.
Your report should address the following:
The report should examine three distinct phases of storage and distribution.
1.Should clearly set out the objectives of a distribution system from the point of storage of the finished product following final assembly through to receipt of goods by the end customer.
2.The methods,techniques and equipment proposed by the report should be critically evaluated for each stage in the process and for each option chosen.
3.An understanding of the concepts involved in ‘adding value’ by the way in which storage and distribution of goods is undertaken.
The conclusion to your report should highlight the main features of each of the three phases which in turn should lead to your recommendations with the reasons why you are choosing that particular course of action.
