I like winter because I can control my temperature,I won't be forced to go outside "because you should",the warm clothes/blankets I have are soft to touch,there's rarely any blindingly bright sun (in Irish winter),town is quieter as less people are out and about,I get to have lots of nice hot drinks/food,it's easier for me to get friends to come to my house to hang out instead of going all the way to the pubs and clubs as my place is so near to college.
What I don't like is the madness of Christmas.I hate having to meet loads of family members who barely know me and having to try be happy and smiley around my family in spite of the crap they get up to like bullying me if I ever mention my Asperger's to other people,I hate trying to figure out who to give cards or presents to,trying to avoid the multitudes of invitations to go out,not knowing how soon I can get away...argh!
