Advantages and Disadvantages of Studying Abroad
A recent survey shows that the number of Chinese students studying abroad has increased a lot. People hold different opinions on studying abroad. On the one hand , supporters believe that getting education in foreign county has a lot of benefits. Firstly , living in a new country can broaden our mind and students are easier to experience new cultures than in our own country. Secondly, it encourages independence. Studying abroad is a long way from homeland so it is a promising way to be mature and intelligent.
On the other hand, there are also disadvantages about studying abroad. For instance , studying abroad need high expenses . Students have to pay more on their study and their life than in domestic universities. That’s not a easy thing for most families. What’s more ,you may feel confused about culture shock. In that you have to interact with foreigners from their cultures. Above all , you would feel stressed and lonely.
Personally, I’m in favor of studying in our own country. China has the profound cultural background more than five thousand years. We have to know more about our own culture. Furthermore, we can be independent and live a happy life in domestic with the development of China's education
