选C 一共只有三本,用one...the other表示一共只有两部分,前一部分是一本,后一部分为两本

再答： 不能，选B的话表示出了这两种书的话还有其他的，其实是没有了 another是另一个，为N这种的另一个。如：I have a beautiful bag, but I want another one. other 不单用，第一个用法是one。。the other。。。意为一个另一个，一共两个。如：I have two books; one is an English book, and the other is a Chinese book. other+ 可数名词的复数，等同于others，意思是其它的。如：Some students in our class are reading books while others are sleeping.除了看书的和睡觉的还有在做其它事情的。 the other+可数名词复数，等同于the others，意思是剩余的全部。如：Some students in our class are reading books while the others are sleeping.班上就两种人，看书的和睡觉的。
